Kesu walking lathe is suitable for processing a large number of small and complex cylindrical parts. The diameter range for turning parts is 1.1 mm -38 mm (0.045 "-1.5"). The tolerances for straightness and concentricity are also very strict. At present, Kesu has invested in 23 5-axis CNC walking machine automatic lathes. Each machine is equipped with a bar feeder. It can comprehensively achieve mass production of slender shaft parts.
What is CNC machining?
Machining is a precision manufacturing process that can quickly and accurately produce very small parts. The parts are formed by a lathe operated by a numerical control unit, which rotates the parts radially while cutting them. This type of specialized cutting tool allows the machine to perform multiple operations at once in a shorter amount of time.
The specific Swiss lathe turning application of Kesu Hardware focuses on micro machining within the diameter range of 1 mm to 4 mm, as well as complex B-axis milling and eccentric applications up to 26 mm in diameter. Provide functions such as boring, boring, rolling, turning, and milling, as well as external thread cutting, tapping, rolling, and single point thread machining. It can handle various materials, from stainless steel to titanium, aluminum, and even plastic. Our machine also has an automatic loading function for large-scale operation.
The working principle of lathe machining with walking heart machine
The working principle of the walking machine is to feed the rod material through a guiding sleeve. When the material is fed into the tool area of the machine, the guiding sleeve firmly supports the material. In addition, only the processed rod portion enters the processing area, which means that the material is tightly fixed in the appropriate position to improve stability and accuracy.
Using traditional CNC lathes, workpieces typically rotate rapidly in a fixed position and are firmly held at one or both ends. By contrast, with a Swiss lathe, the workpiece can rotate and move back and forth along the Z-axis, while various tools can cut the features of the part. In addition, Swiss lathes can perform multiple operations in multiple areas simultaneously, while traditional lathes typically can only perform one operation at a time.
Although traditional lathe machines are used for machining screws and other turning parts, they can also produce complex parts without any turning surfaces.
The advantages of using a lathe for machining
The advantage of a lathe is that it is both accurate and fast. They can maintain tolerances as small as tens of thousands of inches, making them an ideal choice for applications that always require the same measurement values. They can also produce simple parts with short cycle times, depending on the part, in just 10 seconds. Similar to 5-axis machining, parts can be rotated along 5 different axes to achieve the most precise cutting of each part.
Our advanced machinery can produce complex and intricate shapes as well as standard shapes.
Industry and Applications
The lathe machining is used for some complex, high-precision and difficult parts, such as medical and surgical applications, aerospace, fiber optics and electronic products. This machining can be used to produce pneumatic parts, surgical instruments, fiber optic connectors, and fluid motion parts. All of these comply with industry standards - we have obtained ISO 9001:2008 quality management certification.

Jinshang walking machine automatic lathe
Compared to CNC lathes, automatic lathes have made a qualitative leap in machining efficiency and precision. Due to the dual axis arrangement of the cutting tools, the machining cycle time is greatly shortened. By shortening the tool changing time between the cutting and aligning stations, utilizing the multi tool position overlap function, the effective axis movement overlap function for thread chips, and the direct spindle indexing function during secondary processing, idle time can be reduced. The chip cutting tool is always machined at the clamping position between the spindle and the workpiece, ensuring constant machining accuracy. The maximum processing diameter of the core machine on the market is 38mm. However, the centering machine is mainly limited by the material diameter. The largest type of lathe can only process parts with a diameter of 20mm. Usually, core lathes are equipped with feeders for processing, achieving fully automated production of a single machine tool and reducing labor costs and defective products in the production process. Can be used for producing large quantities of precision shaft parts.
