Welding is a popular technique in sheet metal manufacturing. At present, we provide sheet metal welding for aluminum, steel, stainless steel, copper, and many other metals. Welded joints and points can be removed or processed until they appear as if they have never been welded before.

What is welding?
Welding is a manufacturing process or technique that connects metals or other thermoplastic materials (such as plastics) through heating, high temperature, or high pressure.
Welding is a process in which two or more identical or different materials are bonded and diffused together through atoms or molecules.
The method to promote the binding and diffusion of atoms and molecules is to heat or apply pressure, or to heat and apply pressure simultaneously.
welding method
Welding technology is mainly applied to metal substrates. The most commonly used welding techniques include arc welding, argon arc welding, CO2 shielded welding, oxygen acetylene welding, laser welding, electric slag pressure welding, etc. It can also weld non-metallic materials such as plastics. There are over 40 types of metal welding methods, mainly divided into three categories: fusion welding, pressure welding, and brazing.
1. Fusion welding - heating the workpiece to partially melt and form a molten pool. After the molten pool cools and solidifies, the workpiece will be joined. If necessary, fillers can be added to assist in welding. Suitable for welding various metals and alloys, with no pressure requirements.
2. Pressure welding - The welding process must apply pressure to the workpiece, suitable for various metallic materials and some non-metallic materials.
3. Brazing - using a metal material with a melting point lower than the base metal as the brazing material, then wetting the base metal with liquid brazing material, filling the joint gap, and finally diffusing with the base metal to achieve the connection of the welded part. Brazing is suitable for various materials, as well as different metals or dissimilar materials.
The joint formed by connecting two connecting bodies during welding is called a weld seam. During welding, both sides of the weld seam will be subjected to welding heat, causing changes in structure and performance. This area is called the heat affected zone. Due to differences in workpiece material, welding material, and welding current during welding, there may be some adverse effects on the weld seam and heat affected zone after welding. Overheating, embrittlement, hardening, or softening can also reduce the performance of the welded component and deteriorate its weldability. In this case, it is necessary to adjust the welding conditions. For example, preheating the welded joints before welding, insulation during welding, and post weld heat treatment can all improve the welding quality of the welded parts.
