Laser cutting technology
What is laser cutting?
Laser cutting is a processing technique that uses a high-power density laser beam to irradiate the material being cut, rapidly heating the material to the vaporization temperature, and then creating holes when the material evaporates. As the beam moves on the material, holes will continue to form until they become narrow gaps (e.g. 0.1 millimeters). In this way, the laser will complete the cutting.
laser cutting
Laser cutting can be divided into four categories: laser vaporization cutting, laser melting cutting, laser oxygen cutting, and laser marking and controllable fracture.
Laser cutting processing replaces traditional mechanical tools with an invisible beam of light. Therefore, laser cutting has many significant characteristics. High precision, fast cutting speed, unrestricted cutting patterns, automatic typesetting, material saving, smooth cutting, and low processing costs. In this way, traditional metal cutting equipment may gradually be improved or replaced by laser cutting.
The advantages of laser cutting
The mechanical part of the laser blade has no contact with the workpiece. Therefore, the surface of the workpiece will not be scratched during the processing.
2. Fast cutting speed. The incision is smooth and even. General parts can be directly welded without the need for subsequent processing.
Only small areas will be affected by cutting heat. There is slight deformation on the board. The incision width is narrow, generally ranging from 0.1-0.3mm.
4. The incision has no mechanical stress and no shear burrs. Good cross-sectional roughness. (Generally, Ra is 12.5-25 ¦Ì m).
5. High processing accuracy. The general tolerance for hole center distance is 0.1-0.4mm, and the tolerance for external dimensions is 0.1-0.5mm.
6. Good repeatability and no damage to the material surface.
7. CNC programming can process any flat plan and also cut the entire board over a large area. No need for molding, saving a lot of time and cost.
Optional materials: carbon steel plate within 12mm, stainless steel plate within 10mm, aluminum plate within 6mm, copper plate within 2mm, brass plate within 1mm.
