Metal parts
Plastic parts
The main technologies for 3D printing are SLS and SLM.
SLS (Selective Laser Sintering). SLS technology refers to the use of selective laser irradiation on material powders to melt special additive materials. These special additive materials will serve as adhesives and enable the metal powder to bond and form the expected 3D model. Then the metal 3D printing was completed.
SLM (Selective Laser Melting). SLM technology means that selective laser will directly heat the metal powder until it is completely melted. After cooling, it will become the expected 3D model.
SLM printing uses selective laser melting technology to melt and solidify metal powder layer by layer until three-dimensional parts are formed. In this process, the ruler's construction chamber will lay a layer of metal powder, and the high-power laser selectively fuses the powder onto the bed by tracking the surface of the powder section. Then, a new coat of material is applied for the next layer. The entire process is carried out in a high vacuum chamber or a chamber filled with protective gas to prevent the metal powder from reacting with oxygen at high temperatures.
SLM is a high-energy, fine spot laser that can complete complex parts in a very short amount of time, whereas traditional methods can take weeks or even months to complete. The parts not only have precise dimensions, high tensile strength, and high density, but also excellent mechanical properties. Mainly used for rapid production of high-precision and high-quality metal parts.
